Royal Air Maroc Reviews-Driss Benhima
Driss Benhima

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) was a result of the merge between Compagnie Chérifienne de’l Air (Air Atlas) and Compagnie Chérifienne de Transports Aériens Air Maroc in July 1953. The name was adopted on the 28th June 1957, making the government of Morocco with the majority of the stake (67.73%). Now the airline has a total fleet size of 53 aircraft serving over 100 destinations worldwide, headquartered in Mohammed V International Airport.

Driss Benhima is a 61 year old Moroccan CEO and Chairman of the Board of Royal Air Maroc. He is the son of the former prime minister Mohammed Benhima. Driss plot of growth plan is to expand the network of their services in Asia. He explained that “In recent years we have invested in the long haul, so we believe we have the means to go on this land. Trade growth of the Moroccan economy with its continent and the presence of Moroccan private players in some East African countries require opening lines that go beyond our traditional territories.”

Moroccan Services
RAM caters two kinds of cabin under Economy and Business Class. These are the two classifications of services that their passengers enjoy. Flying Economy Class doesn’t feel like a commoner for the cabin strives to enhance customer appreciation on board with comfortability. Seatback entertainment is the class’ inflight entertainment and it serves travelers with two-course meals.

Business Class passengers enjoy new standard of elegance and comfort from their spacious cabins with leather seats, individual entertainment and extensive delicious meals to select from. Flying with RAM’s business class makes customers feel the Moroccan vibe and culture.

The Website and Mobile App
Royal Air Maroc’s official site is not as elegant as the airline sounds. RAM’s page is quite complicated to use and the font size is too small to be understandable. However, to avoid language barrier issues, RAM was generous on changing their site’s version to 8 other languages starting from English. Even if the page is not that easy to use, RAM lets travelers book, manage and check their flights and bookings. They also cater hotel reservations and car rental services.

These options are found on the bottom part of the page. On a positive note, the national airline of Morocco has a mobile version of these services available in the App Store and Google Play Store.

Royal Air Maroc Reviews of Passengers
Out of 13 Royal Air Maroc reviews, RAM had scored 6/10 score rating overall. However, the Royal Air Maroc reviews are a bit out of date for the last review posted by their customer was dated back on the 25th of July 2015. On that certain review, the British passenger gave them a 9/10 score when he said:

“This airline is quite nice. Most of the cabin crew are welcoming and friendly. our flight from Heathrow to Casablanca was pleasant and also we had a 40 min flight from Casablanca to Marrakech, but the pilot got us there in 25 mins which was quite good as our flight was landing at midnight. Food served on the flight was okay, it wasn’t delicious but it wasn’t bad either. Overall, I wouldn’t mind flying with them again :)
