Since it has been a year, we will be starting to write new reviews about the travel sites we once wrote about last year, just to give you a heads up of the current status or changes of a particular online travel agency. Things can change in a span of a year, that’s why we decided on re-writing some of the written travel search engines and give you the freshest feedback for 2016.
In this review, we will be re-talking about Webjet.
Webjet Reviews 2016

Webjet was founded in 1998 by the former CEO of Jetset Travel, David Clarke. At first, the company was based in a single home office and blew up over time and hard work. Webjet is known to be headquartered in Melbourne, Australia. Though, in 2004, Webjet expanded to New Zealand and has since begun joint ventures in North America, Singapore and Hong Kong. In 2007, Webjet made a bid of $42.3 million to acquire Travel.com.au but unfortunately for them, they were out bid by Wotif.com who paid $49.8 million.
How Does Webjet work?
Webjet looks organized and clear, making the site very easy to navigate and find what travellers are looking for. However, the white background and light grey text makes it less visible for the content. Maybe this is their way of making the background image of the beach more noticeable. Moving forward, the majority of their offers are vacation packages for travelers seeking leisure time and their goal is to offer the lowest rates possible. Not to mention, like other travel sites, Webjet lets customers search and compare flights, hotels, car rentals, and cruise deals.
Webjet also has a mobile version of these services. The travel app was officially launched in August 2010, but it only started for iOS users. For Android, it was later released in 2015.
Webjet Reviews 2016 from Customers
Checking the most reliable commenting site in Australia, ProductReview, it seems like consumers are not satisfied with their experience with the travel site. According to 524 Webjet reviews 2016, the travel meta search engine’s overall service was terrible. Hidden charges suddenly showed up on their bank statement. Others are mostly complaining about Webjet’s false advertising of deals online then charging more than after booking.
It’s quite frustrating to see unhappy customers who planned their vacations for too long get messed up by just booking with Webjet. Most of these Webjet reviews 2016 ended their review by saying “Never use this company” or “I would have give them NO star rating, if it’s an option.”

Conclusion
From their humble beginnings of being a small office to one of the largest online travel agencies, Webjet now has been falling. They have had their issues, like all companies, but they don’t even acknowledge customers’ concern. This is the reason why some of their customers just decide to book with their competitor. Webjet is a pretty great travel agency, but sure needs a polishing.
