Since it has been a year, we will be starting to write new reviews about the travel sites we once wrote about last year, just to give you a heads up of the current status or changes of a particular online travel agency. Things can change in a span of a year, that’s why we decided on re-writing some of the written travel search engines and give you the freshest feedback for 2016.

In this review, we will be re-talking about Airbnb.

We got to admit, Airbnb is too mainstream that it was alleged to be the most reliable and fastest growing travel rental site. As you remember, in October 2015 we wrote a review about Airbnb, if you’ll click on the link it will pretty much tell you how Airbnb started or originated. Airbnb stands for Airbed & Breakfast which was founded in August 2008 by Joe Gebbia and Brian Chesky. It’s almost 8 years, since the company had started, but it seems like consumers are not really as happy as the business sounds. Now, let’s take a closer look about Airbnb.

How does Airbnb work?
This image below, specifically explained where was the company logo originated from:

Airbnb didn’t change their interface since the last time we wrote about them, but what captured our attention was, the background image now is moving. To simplify things, Airbnb caters two kinds of services for “The Guest” and “The Host”, which both can be us. The Guest is basically the customer looking for a rental place and The Host is the one who owns the rental place.

But the biggest problem Airbnb is facing right now, is majorly on the management between The Host and Airbnb itself. That makes customers most of the time unhappy and unaccommodated with their concern, leaving their consumers confused as to whom they shall complain. Let’s check some of Airbnb reviews 2016.

Airbnb Reviews 2016 from Customers
The most recent Airbnb reviews 2016, is this news site that even gathered 6 reasons why we should reconsider other sites (take your time to read):

Other Airbnb reviews 2016 were posted yesterday by Forbes which talk about the unnamed New York hosts which were accused of not paying taxes on the income and, in some cases violating the New York housing laws. If you’ll remember, this brought a suit against Airbnb. But on a positive note, slowly the company had learned to start paying taxes.

Conclusion
Airbnb Reviews 2016-conclusion
However, given this news, Airbnb reviews 2016, the infamous home-sharing site had not won the favor of its own consumers. On Trustpilot, out of 1,008 Airbnb reviews 2016, they gathered an overall score of 2/10 rating. This will leave you questioning “Are they really reliable?”. I guess, the problem they are currently facing nowadays really had brought them down. It’s best if they should manage their hosts properly to assure customers or “The Guest” a pleasant service.
